Advance tickets are $30 and tickets at the gate are $35. Admission includes a souvenir tasting glass and craft beer tastings.
More than 50 beers from 23 breweries will be featured, in addition to a selection of regional food trucks and live music.

PETER CHANG TO OPEN SECOND AREA RESTAURANT
Renown chef Peter Chang, who operates several Sichuan cuisine-based bistros across Virginia, including one in Landstown, is opening a second Virginia Beach location.
Peter Chang Express will open Aug. 26 with half-off menu items, says Gen Lee, a business association of Chang. A grand opening will be held Aug. 28.
Look for the streamlined operation just a few blocks west of Town Center; signage is already on the outside of the location, which is in a small strip of shops.
Chang attended the Sichuan Higher Institute of Cuisine in China and later was the chef at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. He headed other kitchens before starting his own line of restaurants.
Earlier this year he was named as a semifinalist for the James Beard Award for the best chef in the mid-Atlantic region. The James Beard Foundation awards are highly sought after and generally regarded as the most prestigious culinary-based awards in the country.
You’ll come in, place your order at the counter, and we’ll bring it to your table or you take it to go. The menu is smaller so the food can come out of the kitchen quicker.
The menu is divided into: Appetizers & Dim Sum Chinese-Style Noodle, Special Noodle, Hot Appetizers, and a little more than a dozen entrees.
Peter Chang Express is at 4830 Virginia Beach Blvd. Call 963-5051 or 963-1679. A website or social media page has not been set up yet.

SMACK YOUR MAMA GOOD
BRISKET AT GET FRESH CAFÉ
You may know of all the great produce and other Virginia specialty food products you can get inside Norfolk’s Five Points Community Farm Market, but did you know there is a restaurant inside that has the same commitment to fresh and local?
The Get Fresh Café, headed by Chef Michael Holdcraft, serves up some amazing food but I was recently smitten by his brisket.
Rubbed with his own special mix of spices and herbs, it is smoked for 13 hours until it is so tender you can cut it with a fork. He serves it with two housemade sauces – a South Carolina mustard style and a Kansas City tomato/molasses style and some amazing corn on the cob.
Get Fresh Café is inside the Five Points Community Farm Market at 2500 Church St., Norfolk. For more information call 757-966-6577 or visit www.5PtsFarmMarket.org
